High Flying Help: Dutch Flight Attendant School, Swan Heights, Teaches Service with a Smile to the Rich and Famous

In October of this year, Dutch entrepreneurs André

Seijbel (seebel) and Heidi Smale (smile), will start a new school for

flight attendants who work on private jets. This makes their company,

Swan Heights, the first institute to offer worldwide, quality service in

the airplane personnel market. The school will focus on a full range of

high-quality services for discriminating owners of private and corporate

airplanes.

Education program

This new training at Swan Heights takes 28 days to complete at a

boarding school in the vicinity of Schipol Airport. They will take

lessons in three modules while there:

  • Safety, Security and the Paparazzi

  • Hospitality & Service

  • Food & Beverage

(how to serve a six-course meal at 10,000 feet in the air)

Apart from the extensive training, Swan Heights offers a shorter, 15-day

course for corporate flight attendants. The company also provides tailor

made courses.

In-house experience

Both Seijbel and Smale teach their own part of the course, within their

own field of expertise. Seijbel is an experienced butler and a

passionate chef. He used to pamper clients with luxurious dinners on

board a Challenger 604, Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900 earlier in his

career. Smale has extensive experience as a travelling personal

assistant and butler.

Ready for take-off

Slots for placement at the school are filling fast. Flight attendants

wanting to serve in the private jet industry should apply as soon as

possible. The first applications have already arrived.
