8.2.30, the latest and most enhanced version of its breakthrough process
automation product. The latest version of Pilgrim’s SmartSolve, a fully
integrated, Web-based solution, offers a record number of enhancements
to strengthen its functionality, usability and overall risk, compliance
and quality management capabilities.
Key to the enhancements in SmartSolve 8.2.30 are several new
capabilities that support the platform’s “ease of use” and “speed to
task” for customers leveraging the out-of-the-box best practice
capabilities that include enhanced support for audits,
regulatory
reporting, document
control and training
management.

Among the customer-inspired enhancements, a pre-defined Saved Search is
configurable to enter any value-dynamically to bring data to the user.
SmartSolve’s fully configurable portal page has the ability to add
directional icons and configurable quick searches to provide access to
infrequent users to initiate a record, or easily find an existing record
to work through any business process, giving infrequent users the
confidence to navigate an enterprise system.
Pilgrim’s core solutions also now allow users more control in managing
their compliance and quality process experiences. Pilgrim’s Audit
Management solution simplifies, directs and enhances the Auditee’s
response experience through the system, and SmartPulse provides
risk-based analysis to help auditors schedule their highest risk areas.
The Complaints Management solution continues to support the latest
regulatory requirements being defined across international regulatory
bodies. The introduction of a full hierarchical search mechanism for
FDA’s CDRH new Event Codes, and usability enhancements from eMDR users,
paves the way for new EU electronic Medical Device Incident Report (MDV)
with the capability to generate an eMDV xml file.
The enhanced Document Management solution supports a manager's “speed to
task” need by offering a single click to review and “approve” documents.
The Training and Certification Management solution continues to be
enhanced for infrequent Trainee users, who now have an intuitive
step-by-step flow to navigate to their Certification Sign-Off.
“SmartSolve 8.2.30 introduces the capability of allowing users to have a
single sign-on tied to their network logon, which helps users interact
seamlessly with the solution through various applications that they are
already working within,” Risal said. “For example, a controlled document
can easily be accessed through a link in SharePoint or a company’s
intranet. SmartSolve 8.2.30 has been dramatically improved for
scalability, performance and reliability for global deployment through
incorporation of some key new technologies.
