Cyber-Ark®
Software, the leading global software provider for protecting
critical applications, identities and information, today announced
highlights from its Second Annual European Customer and Partner
Conference that took place June 2-3, 2010 in Dublin, Ireland. The event
featured a keynote presentation by Gartner, Inc. Research Vice President
Ant Allan. Additionally, dedicated privileged
identity management and governed
file transfer sessions empowered users to maximize the security,
compliance and business sustainability benefits of Cyber-Ark’s solutions
across the extended enterprise, including cloud-based and virtualized
data center environments.
The conference kicked-off with presentations dedicated to exploring the
expanding definition of privilege including the importance of taking a
holistic approach to managing privileged accounts, users and sessions.
Presenters examined the future of privileged account and session
management in extended, virtualized environments and the importance of
having an enterprise-class, unified, policy-based solution that provides
advanced monitoring and reporting tools for managing superusers and
privileged accounts in order to eliminate insider threats, improve
compliance, and increase productivity and efficiency.
“Cyber-Ark’s unrelenting dedication to product innovation and customer
service excellence were clearly reflected at this event. We benefitted
from thought-provoking discussions with our peers during networking
sessions and were able to come away with valuable process and policy
best practices that can quickly be put into action,” said Alexa Glynn,
security analyst, Rabobank International. “Cyber-Ark provides us with
the products and solutions to resolve the majority of our security and
audit issues. Their advice and support is invaluable to our ongoing
security operations and roadmap.”
During this event, Cyber-Ark partners and customers representing
banking, telecommunications and high-tech industries participated in
panel discussions and presented case studies with advice and best
practices for getting ahead of emerging security and compliance
challenges. Sessions included “Privileged Identity Management in the
Cloud,” “Managed File Transfer and Online Services” and “Enterprise
Password Vault as a Business Enabler.” Attendees also benefited from
hands-on demonstrations of Cyber-Ark’s Governed
File Transfer Suite along with the newest version of its Privileged
Identity Management Suite that includes the On-Demand
Privileges Manager™.
“This event was a tremendous opportunity to bring our global customers
and partners together in a single forum dedicated to exploring the
evolving risks and opportunities in the privileged identity management
space, especially with the new complexities being created by cloud
computing and virtualized environments,” said Udi Mokady, CEO, Cyber-Ark
Software. “Our team benefited from productive discussions with attendees
and collaborative product strategy sessions that will help drive
continued adoption of our solutions around the world as business
sustainability and risk management continue to be important factors in
all IT and C-level decision making.”
