ARC
Logics, part of Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services, has
announced that its 2010 CCH
TeamMate and Axentis Engage!
User Forums will be held concurrently at the JW Marriott San Antonio
Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 17-20.
The CCH TeamMate User Forum, the world’s largest audit technology
conference, brings together more than 700 audit professionals and
industry experts to help organizations leverage CCH TeamMate audit
technology and share best practices.
“Our focus is to help auditors leverage TeamMate and facilitate
discussion on the latest audit hot topics and challenges facing auditors
today,” said Mike Gowell, general manager and vice president, CCH
TeamMate. “It will be CCH TeamMate’s biggest event to date, including
more than 35 dynamic sessions for attendees to choose from.”
The Engage! User Forum focuses on helping organizations in highly
regulated industries minimize exposure to compliance and risk and
optimize business performance using Axentis, a market-leading provider
of governance, risk and compliance management software.
Themed “Get Connected,” the conference has been expanded to two and a
half days and co-locates the user forums to maximize collaboration and
networking across audit, risk and compliance functions. The conference
provides sessions specifically geared toward audit and compliance, while
also offering joint tracks that allow professionals to gain insight on
broader enterprise
risk issues that may affect their roles.
The conference includes a key note address by Lou Holtz, one of the most
celebrated and accomplished coaches in sports history, and offers
informative sessions on a number of areas, as well as continuing
professional education (CPE)-accredited training courses for all
experience levels. Session topics include a range of product-specific
overviews, best practice sharing sessions and relevant audit, risk and
compliance hot topics.
CCH TeamMate and Axentis, along with Sword, an operational risk platform
for the financial industry, comprise Wolters Kluwer Financial &
Compliance Services’ ARC Logics business unit, which helps
organizations across multiple industries address increasingly complex
audit, risk and compliance challenges.
“Bringing ARC Logics’ resources together for one conference
program allows us to address challenges and opportunities facing
organizations’ audit, risk, compliance, legal and finance functions,”
said Ian Rhind, president of ARC Logics. “The event provides
action items and takeaways that will help attendees develop a more
unified approach to enterprise risk management.”
