IndiSoft,
LLC, a technology developer focusing its efforts on the default
service management industry, announced today that its RxOffice®
platform offers automated U.S. Postal Service (USPS) address
verification.
For clients using USPS, RxOffice will automatically verify addresses
upon boarding of loans and cases. Further, agents can verify and scrub
addresses when hand-entering addresses associated to a case and/or loan.
RxOffice has integrated with the USPS APIs to make this feature
available.
Sending letters of notification to homeowners throughout the delinquency
life cycle is a requirement to meet insurer, investor and state
guidelines. Failure to send mail to a valid address can invalidate a
foreclosure action and expose law firms and servicers to financial
penalties including inability to file insurance claims when a loss is
taken through foreclosure and/or REO.
As homeowner contact requirements become increasingly important and
regulated through servicing guidelines and U.S. Treasury directives,
IndiSoft is actively developing additional skip tracing functions and
integrations to be included in the RxOffice Portal.
“It is important for IndiSoft to provide our clients with the essential
tools that bring much needed efficiencies in the process while staying
compliant with the ever-changing regulations and program options,” said
Sanjeev Dahiwadkar, president and CEO of IndiSoft. “This is the first in
a series of enhancements relating to homeowner contact that will further
position our clients to meet their obligation to contact homeowners
prior to and during foreclosure action.”
