MTG B SHARE TO BE INCLUDED IN OMX STOCKHOLM 30 INDEX
Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ.) (`MTG' or `the Group'), the
international entertainment broadcasting group, today announced that the
MTG Class B share (MTGB SSE), which is listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm,
will be included in the OMX Stockholm 30 (OMXS30) and OMX Stockholm 60
(OMXS60) indices from 1 July 2009.
OMXS30 was launched in 1986 and comprises Nasdaq OMX Stockholm's top 30
most traded stocks. The highly liquid index is 99.9% correlated with the
OMX Stockholm All Share index and is one of the most traded indices in
Europe. The extended OMXS60 index of Nasdaq OMX Stockholm's 60 most
traded stocks is being launched on 1 July 2009 and is a free float
market capitalisation weighted index. The composition of both indices is
reviewed on a half yearly basis.
